    My name is Linda I am a Home School Mom. My two high school kids and I will, eagerly, be joining. We are extremely excited to attend and listen to everything going on with people around the world, thoughts and thought processes w/ reference to ideas so great as those about to be discussed. We thank the Smithsonian Institute for allowing us this opportunity; we look forward to learning new conceprt and ideas over the next few days.

    Hi everyone, I’m an information specialist at University of Puerto Rico. I’m librarian for 25 years, now I’m a virtual reference librarian. I’m interested in libraries and museums, museums libraries and special librararies that work like museums (I named libraries museum). I want to create a learning community for that’s special collections with resources like rare books and include museums and archives. Special interest too in cultural heritage like artisans and its knowledge, help to solving problems to that community. Now I’m one of the directors of Puerto Rican Association of Popular Imaginary.

    I am currently representing State chapter of Nuer Communities Development Services of U.S.A.as Sudanese American.I am skilled in managing stressful and harsh environment; team building and group work are always part of my principle.I have knowledge in community entry ability and the community background, information mobilization, networking and communication.I’m C/O founder of S.S.T.T.C.I literate myself since I was 11years old with Computer programming.My experience with the community was started from early age when I was 18yrs old before the information program of S.S.T.T.C in 2007, my duty include to remove the hungry in Southern Sudan and provide education and clean water.but I love to support this wonderful program Smithsonian.
