Create a Global Conservation Corps, modelled after Franklin Roosevelt's Civilian Conservation Corps during the American New Deal. Organize youth around the world to plant billions of trees [collect seeds and grow seedlings, then transplant to reforest].

During the New Deal CCC camps were organized and managed based on military base concepts, but no weapons were included. There were long work days and communal meals. Enrollees were paid $1 day and housed and fed. Medical care was provided.
Recreational activities were included and also GED/education.

The CCC Legacy Organization and Smithsonian history can provide much information on the genius of FDR in enlisting youth to conserve natural resources. In doing so he also built young men of character and responsibility.

The United Nations and non-governmental organizations could lead this effort to create a global conservation corps.

Wonder if what follows is innovative, and even more, part of the solution!!

An idea I am persuing is to set up a weather station network, on a voluntary basis, with the purpose of nurturing a scientific culture, basically on the metorological side, among the population.

Basic tenats are:

1- Climate change is, in part, a meteorological phenomena.
2- At least in a tropical country like mine, thus far it has not been necesary to know the weather forecast before leaving home. Thus meteorology is a service you can live without
3- Even in the case you will like to take a look at forecast, it is an average prognosis, and basic concepts like 40 mm rain means nothing to regular citizen
4-HENCE: providing meteorological data on real time MAY make the difference, eventhough Internet connection is a service not everyone has at hand

Am I right??????? ALL type of critics WELCOME

The earth is a system,it change so it can keep her balance. The climate would be change on its own way.Man's behavior made the change more rapid .we can not stop the change,as a initiative part of the system,we watch it.Just as the climate change during the past when there are no human on the earth.

What innovative ideas do you have for solving issues related to climate change? What are some things found in nature that provide inspiration for inventions that can help solve the climate crisis?
